In founding the Vega Real vinery, the Barbadillo family, originally from Burgos, have managed to pursue their dream of going back to their roots, and, in doing so, they have essentially completed their family circle.<\/p>\n
Vega Real is not just a range of wines, but it is very personal way of interpreting the Ribera del Duero. Each wine is unique and has its own personality; a true reflection of the winery\u2019s historical setting.<\/p>\n
Vega Real is a small\/medium sized boutique winery that was founded in 1997, and which is located in the very heart of the Ribera de Duero, very close to Pe\u00f1afiel.
\nCultivated in vineyards planted next to one of the meanders of the River Duero and surrounded by hundred-year-old black popular trees, our red grapes are born to be adored.<\/p>\n
Our production processes incorporate highly artisanal components. Likewise, our commitment to optimisation and specialisation are key features in our vineyard management. We work hard to ensure that we select only the very best grapes each year, taking each wine\u2019s unique personality into consideration when doing so. For this reason, we are not just in charge of managing our own vineyards, but we are also involved in the total integration and management of the vineyards owned by the three finest grape growers in the area, who all work exclusively for Vega Real. La familia Barbadillo, originaria de Burgos, ha conseguido con Vega Real hacer realidad el sue\u00f1o de volver a sus or\u00edgenes, cerrando as\u00ed su c\u00edrculo familiar.<\/p>
Vega Real no es s\u00f3lo una gama de vinos, sino tambi\u00e9n una forma de interpretar la Ribera del Duero. Cada vino es \u00fanico y con personalidad propia. Reflejo del entorno hist\u00f3rico de la Bodega. Una bodega boutique de tama\u00f1o mediano\/peque\u00f1o, fundada en 1997 y situada en el coraz\u00f3n de la Ribera, muy cerca de Pe\u00f1afiel. All\u00ed, junto a un meandro del r\u00edo Duero, rodeado de chopos centenarios, las uvas tintas nacen para ser adoradas.<\/p>
Los procesos de elaboraci\u00f3n tienen un alto componente artesanal, apostando por la optimizaci\u00f3n y especializaci\u00f3n en la gesti\u00f3n del vi\u00f1edo. Para garantizar cada a\u00f1o la selecci\u00f3n de las mejores uvas en funci\u00f3n de la personalidad de cada tinto, se a\u00fana la gesti\u00f3n del vi\u00f1edo propio con la integraci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n total de los vi\u00f1edos de los tres mejores viticultores de la zona, que trabajan en exclusiva para Vega Real. Esto aporta flexibilidad en la b\u00fasqueda de la m\u00e1xima homogeneidad y estabilidad cualitativa, a\u00f1ada tras a\u00f1ada, para Vega Real Roble, El Empecinado y Vaccayos.<\/p>
