Álvaro Alés Joins Barbadillo as Global Marketing and Communication Director

As of September 1st, Álvaro Alés leads the Marketing and Communication area of Barbadillo Group, following his collaboration in the development of the company’s new strategic plan. This appointment also marks his return to the company, where he previously served as Marketing Director. His responsibilities cover the group’s three wineries: Barbadillo (D.O. Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda), Vega Real (D.O. Ribera del Duero), and Pirineos (D.O. Somontano). With over 25 years of experience in marketing, communication, tourism, and gastronomy, Álvaro has held roles at companies such as Diageo, Pernod Ricard, and Telefónica B2B. He is also the founder of the agencies 360º Marketing & Comunicación and Gastropass, and will combine his role at Barbadillo with his leadership at Grupo 360ºMC, his teaching work at the Universidad Europea, and active participation in institutions such as the Seville Academy of Gastronomy and Tourism (ASGT), DIRCOM, and the IMPACT Council.
