Solear Saca Estacional
Bodegas Barbadillo has been producing Solear Pasada en Rama Manzanilla wine within its Marco de Jerez vineyard area since 1999. It was in that year that we made the decision to use the “En Rama” wine bottling technique; a system in which the wine is transferred directly from the cask to the bottle. By doing so we were able to recover one of the very best of Sanlúcar de Barrameda’s traditions: long periods of biological ageing.
It is the only one of our Manzanillas to be extracted from the barrels four times a year, coinciding with the start of each season: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each “saca” boasts distinct nuances and organoleptic characteristics, therefore offering this wine the perfect amalgamation of rotundity and subtlety.
Bright old gold in colour.
Powerful on the nose with aromas of roasted nuts and yeast resulting from its ageing under a velum of flor yeast.
Unctuous and full, a wine that has stood the test of time.
Traditional: Ham / Innovative: Sushi.
