This summer, Barbadillo fills the nights of Sanlúcar de Barrameda with music. There will be five concerts bringing together the best of established and emerging musical talent. Bodegas Barbadillo presents Universo Vi – Small Festival, a program of five concerts spread over the weekends of July and August. The concerts of Universo Vi – Small Festival feature musicians from various genres, but always top-notch in the national and international music scene. They are notable for their intimate format and limited capacity, with a predominance of acoustic ambiance.
The artists in this lineup are
Benavent, di Gerardo, and Pardo – July 13: Lives fully dedicated to creation and performance make them advanced students, inventors, and masters all at once, who need no further introduction. “The Trio,” as their audience knows them, is “an experiment” with unprecedented results.
Nena Daconte – July 19: “Casi Perfecto” is the title of Nena Daconte’s sixth studio album. Ten new songs revolve around love, heartbreak, loneliness, and the passage of time. Composed again by Mai, except for “El verano,” which is an adaptation of a poem by the singer-songwriter Marwan. Produced by Dani Alcover, they have a ’90s pop-rock sound, thus recovering the essence of Nena Daconte’s early albums. Almost perfect like life, like love, like this album, because who wants to be perfect?
Mercedes Luján – July 27: Mercedes is considered by many as the most powerful flamenco guitarist on the contemporary scene. She shows great confidence on stage, great versatility in her technique and style, and undoubtedly a unique sound born from the echoes of Morón, Melchor, and Jerez.
Pedro Pastor and Los Locos Descalzos – August 3: Pedro Pastor is becoming one of the youngest pillars supporting Spanish-language singer-songwriter music. His new album “Escorpiano,” his fifth, is full of renewed energy.
Music Komité – August 9: Music Komité is a collective audiovisual project conceived by Calde Ramírez, which, like an itinerant alter ego, has given name to numerous musical-visual spectacles, leading to collaborations with artists like Sharon Fridman, Pasión Vega, Patricio Hidalgo, Eduardo Guerrero, Cristian de Moret, Califato 3×4, Laura Millán, etc., and has toured Europe, Japan, Spain, and Morocco. For this occasion, Music Komité will delight us with a new show, created and adapted to each place according to its characteristics, so no performance will be the same.
All information about the concerts is available on the Universo Vi website.

El Jardín de San Guillermo
A garden that acts as a border between two wineries, conceived to favor the air circulation needed by biological aging wines. It is a cozy and beautiful space where you can enjoy a summer night with good music and good wines.
Armando Guerra, Global Brand Manager of Bodegas Barbadillo, commented: “The creation of Pequeño Festival seeks to showcase the fascinating winery heritage of the company by participating in the socio-cultural dynamization of Sanlúcar.”
